I order the construction of a port in Edinburgh, crank the taxes up to 11, recruit a diplomat and merchant, and consolidate nearly all my troops. It has only the holding of Edinburgh to start with, and presently has no missions, map knowledge beyond Scottish territory, or diplomatic relations. The glorious kingdom of Scotland makes excellent use of spears and pikes, but is lacking in cavalry and the nobles often prefer to fight on foot.
